RPS was founded February 28, 2017, when S&W Energy Solutions, Inc. (SWES), with its rich history in the power industry, and Luther King Capital Management (LKCM), a Fort Worth, Texas based private investment firm, joined forces.
S&W Energy was founded in 2000 by Stewart & Stevenson and GE Power veterans Jeff Seldenrust and Richard Wolf, RPS’ Chief Technology Officer and Chief Executive Officer, respectively. SWES specialized in power generation plant design and provided engineering, procurement and construction, and operation and maintenance services in remote and challenging international locations. SWES executed dozens of projects around the world in places such as Iraq, Kuwait,
Venezuela and Ghana.
